USDA Training Opportunity

USDA-free-trainingThe USDA recently announced that they will be conducting webinars on both credit underwriting topics, property requirements for anyone interested in learning more about current USDA policies, and upcoming Handbook (HB) changes.

In my opinion, this training opportunity is a MUST for all those participating in the USDA loan programs.  It is anticipated that rather substantive policy changes will be implemented soon by the USDA and this is a unique opportunity for lenders to obtain guidance directly from Rural Development staff.  Best of all – this training is FREE to all participants.

The two upcoming Webinars will cover the following topics:

Wednesday, April 13th (from 1-3pm EST)– Borrower Eligibility (Chapter 4 of the USDA’s Handbook 1-3550) and Underwriting the Loan (Chapter 6 of this Handbook).

Thursday, April 14th (from 1-3pm EST)– Property Requirements (Chapter 5 of the HB), Special Situations (Chapter 9 of the HB) and Section 504 Loans and Grants (Chapter 12 of the HB).
