This time of year, not only fills our homes with all the trimmings, trappings, sights and sounds of the holiday season (eggnog on ice, glowing candle sticks, beautifully wrapped gifts, nuts to crack, glistening sugar cookies, potato pancakes and shrimp cocktail at the parties), but normally includes gathering with friends, family and our co-workers for holiday celebrations.
This year, with many of us all still working remotely, the holiday events we look forward to each year to celebrate the season with our colleagues looks a bit different. If you “zoom” in though, there are still many ways we can connect outside the traditional walls of our office buildings.
For instance, in the “daily quiz” channel on our company messenger app this month, we’re sharing our favorite holiday traditions, songs, movies, photos of our families -pets too,…. decorations, gift ideas and more! Perhaps you’re now mailing traditional holiday cards to the homes of your former cubemate or taking part in a virtual holiday happy hour.
In addition to some of the above, we also wanted to spread some holiday cheer and goodwill with our larger LoanLogics community by taking an office holiday ugly sweater contest virtual!
